In this world of celebrations about each and everything, come friendship day you will see a mass hysteria about sending messages to your friends and also sending e-cards, friendship bands and a thousand other things like friendship quotes.
The friendship day may be a way to celebrate true friendship but it is a tough thing recognizing such true friendship.From your childhood to your old age you meet so many people some become good friends and some fall fall by the wayside. Some remain with you till the very end as true friends. The question is how do you recognize these best friends and what qualities does a true friend has?
A true friend is one who will not only recognize what you said but will also recognize what you did not say. A true friend will never demand anything in return. He comes to you with no strings attached. That is what is the basis of true friendship. There is almost a feeling of oneness and selflessness between both of you.A true friend will never take you for granted and will almost be like your alter ego.
That said the best friends are tough to find and

You may be putting in all your best efforts and helping a person in distress thinking that the person is your best friend but it may so happen that he uses you as a pedestal for moving up higher in life and he has used you as just one of the steps to conquer.
