Men have been trying to figure out what women want for ages, and to be honest that's an question that bears asking. Without knowing what a woman wants, how can you expect her to respond to you? You've heard the old cliches, that diamonds are a girl's best friend, that every girl wants roses on Valentine's Day, or that what she really wants is romantic getaway, but realistically, what do women want?

We all have desires, both men and women. BUT they are very different. Most of our desires, personality and drives have been pre-programmed into us at birth and through growing up within what I call our own individual circle of influence from friends and family.

Men always think that women are not understandable. What a load of rubbish! It is vitally important that we are first happy of ourselves, our appearance, our attitude, and our personalities. Women, are turned on by masculine men. I don't necessarily mean the macho Mr Universe type, but the self confident man who knows his direction and what he wants out of life.

We have all heard the self-help notions revolving around 'see it, believe it, and achieve it.' For most of us, we can get ourselves motivated for a little while but it doesn't take long to fall right back into the realm of normal, every day, low self image.

We have all seen the movies and all silently thought to ourselves that it was about time she woke up. You know the one that the guy hangs around the girl he's in love with in the hopes that their friendship will turn into something more.

Both women and men have motives in everything they do. Only difference is that a women's motives are much harder to figure out, although not impossible. They do leave enough clues for you to figure out. Their body language, the questions they ask, and their actions all form clues to what they are after.

We have all been there. She is very attractive, funny, seems really intelligent, and of course she caught not only our eye but the eye of five other guys in the room so far, and she just walked in. We are so tempted to tell ourselves, she is out of our league and to just forget it and yet we know that we are already attracted to her.

How awesome it is to move past that initial stage of dating, of hoping, of wondering, and getting to know each other and find yourself in a new position of having what looks to be a long term relationship.
